Vintage India...

yesterday.. was watching an Indian Classic..Umrao Jaan..a periodic (pre-east indian company) fictitious movie ..wondered how people would be realliiiii lookin at that time..juss tryin to throw light on that epoch... with few selected portraits of what i ended up ...."surfing"...

Starting with apna Hyderabad. Charminar in 1880 almost 300 years after it was built.


Victoria Terminal, Bombay in 1878. Built just then to commemorate the queen's 50th
anniversary of coronation.Post Independence..was renamed as "Chatrapati Shivaji
Terminal".... accalimed as one of the busiest teminus in India


Tata Mansion..donno when.. but is Grand..aint it? Built by Jamshetji himself as a
place to collect his antiques bought from japanese and chinese auctioneers.

Watson Road.Bombay. Wonder...Were there people at all in bombay ??


Sullivans Oak in1894. Place founded by John Sullivan now the hill station Ooty.
